Human Resources Assistant

Regular full time HR and Recruiting Services

Join a growing, fast-paced company on the Peninsula. Provide assistance to the Human Resource Department and Director of HR benefits paperwork, general administrative/HRIS database functions and general department organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage and update HRIS pay period employee personal and job assignment changes. Partner with Payroll Department to validate accurate HRIS changes effecting employee?s pay
• Create and update HRIS organizational changes
• Audit pre-employment paperwork with new hire applicant flow sheet and HRIS to ensure accuracy
• Support onboarding process of new hires including collection of required first day paperwork and documents. Manage I-9 forms and requirements (as necessary)
• Create and distribute management organizational change letters
• Scan terminated employee personnel files
• Assist with administration of Rewards and Recognition and Tuition Reimbursement Programs
• Provide employee information upon management request
• Assist with HR related inquiries and issues, while accurately communicating HR policies and procedures to employees and to management

• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must possess good listening skills
• Must have the confidence and ability to make decisions
• Easily understands and grasps new technology
• Strong communication skills-verbal and written
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
